Okay after seeing this place going viral many times on social media, we HAD to try it. & let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed! Make sure you order online as the order takes up to half an hour to be ready. But we got the Patrick Star & it was sooo good! EXTREMELY filling & that crave sauce it just so tasty. The french fries were okay, but you really go for the sandwiches. We were sharing so we got the biggest size. It was about $30 so keep that in mind, but each half is Huuhe & it's way more than filling. The staff was extremely nice, the location was kinda hidden around some warehouses but that just means it's a more lowkey spot that you don't have to struggle with! We cannot wait to try more sandwiches.
Amazing food especially the Spider-Man fries and I really liked the Patrick sandwich really delicious
Amazing food. Chill vibes with the walls bombed with comics and anime. Service is fast too, even when we ordered the Large sandwiches. Parking a bit tight due to the other neighboring restaurants. Would recommend coming before or after lunch hour.
Found this spot on tik tok & it is now our favorite sandwich spot!!! The location is a hidden gem! The worker was super kind the moment we walked in and service was quick. The vibes are awesome! They have the coolest comic books, figurines and comic wall to match their cool sandwich names!! We got the Pikachu & shaggy with a side of curly fries! The sandwiches are hugeee and delicious. Could be saved for another meal. So super bang for your buck! (;
Excellent for a fast food sub! And I read that they were halal too! I did a delivery order for the Shaggy on Dutch with beef bacon and red onions and a small curly fry. Fries are very reminiscent of Arby's. The delivery was quick, order was correct, and the sandwich was really good. I liked the texture of the Dutch bread and the flavor overall was nice. Not too sure about the avocado/pesto mixture on this particular sandwich, the avocado lacked seasoning. I am also iffy on the beef bacon, first time trying it. Would def come back to try more!
Found this place while looking for good vegan options to accommodate a friend who was in town. As a vegan, she was thrilled with all of the different vegan meat options and she loved her sandwich so much, she ordered a second one to take home. I found the meat sandwich I got to be pretty tasty as well. They have some pretty interesting flavor combinations, I definitely need to go back and try a few others, but I did want to at least let it be known that this place gets the vegan stamp of approval!
Do yourself a favor and skip subway forever, come here instead!! Super yummy and lots of different sandwiches for all types. The workers are fast and kind and the space is very nerdy retro (comics and such decor). I love the Turkey fight club but some other orders my family have gotten were pretty good too (Mr Incredibles, Madagascar, Shaggy, and Ed Edd and Eddy).
Habibi this place is halal!!! As a frequent visitor to the Berkeley location, I was thrilled to hear about their new spot in Hayward--it's much closer to home! Naturally, I couldn't miss the grand opening, and I'm delighted to share that it exceeded all my expectations and i've been a loyal customer ever since! They have been open for about a year now... The quality of the food and the service is always outstanding. Among the various combos I tried, the pastrami sandwich stood out the most. It had just the right amount of heat, and the Dutch crunch bread held all the flavors together perfectly. I also appreciated some of their vegan chicken options! They had a buffalo chicken sammy that would make any human drool, vegan or not. It's a wonderful way to bring together both the Halal and vegan communities under one roof. What makes Crave Subs even more special is their commitment to inclusivity, everyone is welcome. The grand opening event itself was a blast. The ambiance was electric, thanks to the live music and the DJ who kept the energy high all evening. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend checking out the Hayward location--you won't be disappointed!
I love that they have vegan sandwiches. Not just one, but several. I ordered online and picked up. It's only a 2 minute drive from my office. There is a small parking lot, but fills up quick as there are at least 3 other restaurants in that area. My food was ready when I arrived. The guy at the front greeted me and gave me my order. They have several seats available for dine in, but I took mine to go. I ordered a vegan sandwich, the Shrek on a dutch crunch. I love that the bread isn't too bready, it was perfect and just enough crunch. It's a very messy sandwich. It fell apart while I was eating it and I really hate messy sandwiches, but it was really tasty that I really didn't mind. Will definitely have to come back and try the other vegan sandwiches. Go check them out, they have legit sandwiches.
We were craving sandwiches one day and happen to find this place by chance. It's in a small plaza with other small, local eateries nearby. It also looks like a great spot for those that are working in nearby companies over at Industrial as well. There's a small parking lot that's right at the front of the restaurant, but it looks like it can be filled up pretty easily since there are other stores as well. When entering, I noticed that the place was pretty clean. There's also a variety of anime, marvel, and Star Wars pictures hung up. You can also order through the kiosk at the front or at the register. My boyfriend ordered a large sandwich, I opted for the smaller size, and we both shared a side of fries. I can't eat that much, and I'm really glad that they have a smaller size available since not many places have that option. Our food was great, and it really hit that sandwich craving that my boyfriend and I had. We'll definitely be back again!
